The Riviera Romagnola is also known as the “Riviera of the parks”, for the many amusement parks in the area. From Ravenna to Cattolica you will find entertainment for all ages, from the natural oasis to the games the adrenaline, to spend with family or friends moments of pure enjoyment.

L’ Aquarium of Cattolica

L'Aquarium of Cattolica, is a large park built inside of an old colony in the form of a naval fleet, which today houses more than 100 tanks and more than 3000 species of marine animals and not. From sharks to otters, from crocodiles to penguins, there are many specimens to be discovered within this great structure.

Is divided into four routes: the blue route for a close encounter with sharks, penguins, stingrays and jellyfish to describe the biological evolution of the Earth, the yellow path to the discovery of the water-courses with the puppies caiman and otters, the green route to discover the most curious species of insects and reptiles on land, and the purple path is to know the strange creatures of the deep.


Amusement Parks

The largest and most famous park of the Riviera is of course Mirabilandia, in Ravenna, with its exciting attractions that involve everyone and its a dedicated area for water games, Mirabeach. In Rimini, instead, you will find Fiabilandia, dedicated entirely to children, and Italia In Miniatura , where you can visit all of Italy in a single day.

Let's not forget of some of Riccione, the famous Aquafan is perfect to try the spectacular play extreme, or relax in the swimming pool, where they are re-created sea waves, while Oltremare is the park for those who want to spend a day discovering the natural world and witness the spectacle of the dolphins.

The Natural Oasis

If you want to spend a different day between nature and the unique landscapes we recommend visiting the Salt pans of Cervia, a large body of water and salt where to find over two thousand flamingos, 100 species of birds and flora in particular suitable to live in extreme conditions. The most evocative moments are sunrise and sunset.

In Milano Marittima there is the Butterfly House, a center of biodiversity that combines the Tropics and the region of Romagna thanks to the hundreds of butterflies flying free. Not far away is the Safari Ravenna, a zoological garden, where you can learn about, thanks to the help of driving experts, more than 700 animals who live in conditions of semi-freedom.
